Mike Aiello, MSE, CSCS - Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Aiello comes to Baseball Metrix after most recently serving as an Assistant Strength Coach at UW-Whitewater. Aiello saw a collegiate playing career that took him to UW-Milwaukee, Madison College, and UW-Whitewater. After college, Aiello played professional baseball with the St. Paul Saints, helping them win the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball Championship in 2019, batting .229 with an OBP of .413 as the backup catcher. He then served as a bullpen catcher for the Milwaukee Milkmen in 2020, who also won the American Association Championship in 2020.
Aiello improved his game each season during his collegiate career, improving his batting average from .189/.279/.303/.339 during his four collegiate seasons, including hitting a career high 8 HR his senior season. Aiello’s senior campaign also saw him named the Division III Academic All-American of the Year after having earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees with a perfect 4.0 GPA from UW-Whitewater.
Aiello is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and has a specific passion for baseball player development. He also serves as an Assistant Coach for the Bryant and Stratton College Baseball Team, where his duties include serving as the Hitting, Catching, and 3rd Base Coach, as well as leading their team player development.

Tony Bottone - Strength & Conditioning/Throwing
Tony is from Fort Wayne, Indiana where he attended Bishop Luers High school. He graduated from Trine University(Angola, IN) this past spring with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minors in Sports Psychology and Coaching. During his time at Trine he pitched for their baseball team. Tony has passion for sports performance training and baseball analytics.

Jason Hoida - Strength & Conditioning
Jason Hoida is from Niles, Michigan where he attended Niles NewTech Entrepreneurial Academy. Jason is a graduate of Trine University with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Leadership Development and Coaching.
In college, Jason interned as the strength and conditioning coach for the Trine University NCAA Men’s Hockey program. He also spent three years as a catcher on Trine’s baseball team, and had a short stint with the South Bend Cubs, a minor league affiliate in the Chicago Cubs organization.
Jason has a passion for sports performance and continues to learn and educate himself on the most effective ways to create a better athlete.
